The Reverend Ben Smith is the Founding President
of
Elisha Company of Prophets which was
established in 2002 to build spiritual awareness
of the prophetic ministry within the body of
Christ and assist in the advancement,
preservation and restorative process of the
prophetic ministry.
At the age of seven
he was called as a prophet to the nations by the
Lord Jesus Christ and given the mandate to share
God’s love to hurting world, activating the
gifts of God in the body of Christ. Rev. Smith
is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College in
Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts
degree, and Deliverance Bible College in Dunlap
Tennessee, where he obtained his diploma of
Evangelism and Missions. In 1997, he was
licensed and ordained as a minister.
Rev. Smith has traveled extensively throughout
the world, proclaiming the Good News of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, with signs, wonders and
miracles following the believer. He has also
been instrumental in leadership training and
spiritual protocol seminars, prophetic schools,
bible schools, music workshops and overseeing
several churches. Presently, this man of God
serves in many capacities, including the office
of a prophet at Family Church of Christian
Retreat, under the local covering of the Gospel
Crusade Ministerial Fellowship and the global
covering of Apostle J. Rodney Roberts (Bahamas).
Rev Smith is married to the lovely Mrs. Schevon
Smith and along with their son Eliysha, they are
flourishing in ministry.
The Institute of
Prophetic Ministry seeks to provide believers
with the guidelines for receiving, understanding
and fulfilling the call of God as it relates to
the gift of prophecy, the office of the prophet
and other areas of the prophetic ministry.
Emphasis will be placed on the gifts of the Holy
Spirit, the call, anointing, authority and
ministry of the prophet, the company of
prophets, prophetic ministers and prophetic
people, along with the importance of submission
and servant-hood.
“Bring the Love, Healing, and Reconciliation of Jesus Christ to all
people.”
